Coloristo — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Coloristo ("Coloristo", "we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Coloristo iPhone application and any related services (the "App"). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Coloristo is operated by Relle Limited, a company registered in Cyprus (company number HE 426487), registered office: Andrea Zakou 2, 2nd floor, Flat/Office 202, 2404 Egkomi, Nicosia, Cyprus; contact address: Dimofontos 39, 3rd Floor, Office 301, 1075 Nicosia, Cyprus (see section 16).
Coloristo is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which applies in addition to these Terms. Where Apple's EULA conflicts with these Terms, these Terms prevail to the extent permitted.
1. What Coloristo does
Coloristo lets you turn your own photos into digital coloring pages and color them directly on your iPhone. When you upload a photo, our automated image-processing systems (including third-party AI processing services) convert it into line art. Coloristo also offers a library of ready-made coloring pages.
Coloristo is entertainment and relaxation software. It is not a medical, therapeutic, or health product, and nothing in the App is medical advice or a treatment for any condition.
Coloring is done on your device. Coloristo does not provide physical printing or fulfilment services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or 13+ with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to use the App. If you create an account (including via Sign in with Apple), you are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Your photos and content
You keep ownership of your photos and of the coloring pages and colored artwork you create ("Your Content").
By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit and process that photo and its derivatives solely to: (a) generate your coloring page; (b) sync your coloring progress and favorites across your devices; (c) display, in the public gallery, artwork you choose to publish; and (d) provide support and maintain security. This licence ends when you delete the content or ask us to remove it, as described in the Privacy Policy; artwork you published stays in the gallery without your name after you delete your account until you ask us to remove it at support@coloristo.org.
We do not use Your Content for advertising, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models, unless you give separate, explicit opt-in consent (for example, if you choose to submit an image for a public gallery or testimonial).
You represent and warrant that:
- you own the photo or have all rights and permissions needed to upload it;
- every identifiable person in the photo (or their parent/guardian) has consented to that photo being uploaded and processed;
- the photo does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity right.
Prohibited uploads. Do not upload content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, depicts minors in an unsafe or sexualised way, promotes violence, hatred, discrimination or self-harm, contains other people's private or identifying documents, or that you do not have the right to use. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice. Report objectionable content or abusive users in-app or at support@coloristo.org; we review reports within 24 hours and act, including removal and account termination.
4. Subscriptions, free trials and billing
The App is free to download. New users can create one coloring page from their own photo for free. After that, photo-to-coloring-page conversion and the full library require a Coloristo subscription ("Premium"). To keep the service available to everyone, we may limit the number of conversions per day.
Plans offered (US pricing, in USD). Prices, plan availability and any promotional or limited-time discount are shown to you in the App before you purchase, and the price displayed at the moment of purchase governs:

Free trials. If a plan includes a free trial, the trial length is stated on the purchase screen. We will remind you before the trial ends where required. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and your Apple ID is charged the disclosed price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Free trials are limited to one per Apple ID, and eligibility is determined by Apple.
Auto-renewal. All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the start of the new period.
Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the paid period.
Payments and refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Refunds are issued by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms; request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We can support you with a refund request but cannot issue Apple refunds directly. Where mandatory consumer law (including applicable US state law) grants you a cancellation or refund right, that right applies.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Changes apply to future renewals only, and Apple will notify you and, where required, ask you to consent before the new price takes effect.
Restore purchases. Use "Restore Purchases" in the App to reactivate an existing subscription on a new device with the same Apple ID.
5. Notifications
With your permission, we send optional push notifications (for example, gentle reminders to continue a coloring page or new content alerts). You can turn these off at any time in iOS Settings or in the App. Denying notification permission does not restrict any paid feature.
6. Licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not: copy, modify, translate, decompile, reverse-engineer or create derivative works of the App; rent, sell, sublicense or distribute it; remove proprietary notices; use bots, scrapers or automation against our services; attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits or security controls; or interfere with the App's operation (including denial-of-service activity).
Coloring pages generated from your own photos may be used for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Ready-made library artwork remains ours or our licensors' and may not be redistributed or resold.
7. Our intellectual property
The App, its design, code, brand, logo, ready-made artwork and all related materials are owned by Coloristo or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
8. Availability, changes and AI output
We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Automated image processing is inherently imperfect: results may vary depending on lighting, resolution, composition and other factors, and we do not guarantee any particular output quality for any given photo. Photo conversion relies on third-party AI services and may occasionally be unavailable or limited; if so, please try again later. The App may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates or events beyond our control.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coloristo and its officers, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coloristo from claims, damages and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or content you upload — including claims by people appearing in photos you uploaded.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account in-app or by emailing support@coloristo.org. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the App unlawfully. Termination does not automatically refund a subscription; refunds remain subject to Apple's policies.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the App or by email before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
You may have rights under the mandatory consumer laws of your place of residence, which these Terms do not limit. We encourage you to contact us first at support@coloristo.org so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
15. Apple-specific terms
- These Terms are between you and Coloristo only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims.
- Apple is not responsible for third-party intellectual property claims relating to the App.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
- You represent that you are not located in a US-embargoed country or on a US restricted-parties list.
